Sahih HadithSahih al-Bukhari 6306

O Allah, fulfill the debts for me, and suffice me with Your lawful provision instead of Your unlawful provision, and enrich me with Your grace so that I am not in need of anyone other than You.

Allahumma qadi d-dayna, wakfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwaka.

Source & Authentication

Narrated by Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): A slave of Allah came to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and said, 'O Allah's Messenger! I am unable to pay for my freedom, so help me.' He (peace be upon him) said, 'Shall I teach you some words which you should say, and Allah will help you to pay your debt even if it were as big as a mountain? Say: Allahumma qadi d-dayna, wakfini bihalalika 'an haramika, wa aghnini bifadlika 'amman siwaka.' (O Allah, fulfill the debt and suffice me with what You have permitted instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent by Your grace of all apart from You).
