Source & Authentication
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'When Allah brings any of His creation to the morning, they are revived by Him. When Allah brings any of His creation to the evening, they are caused to die by Him. It is He who holds back the soul that He has decreed death for, and He releases the soul for a specified term. So, the two sides say: 'Alhamdulillahilladhi ahyana ba'da ma amatana wa ilaihin-nushur.' (All praise is for Allah, who brought us back to life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection).
