Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: The most frequent supplication of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was: 'O Turner of the hearts, make my heart firm on Your religion.' I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have believed in you and in what you brought. Do you fear for us?' He said: 'Yes, the hearts are between the fingers of the Merciful, He turns them however He wills.'
