Virtues & Benefits

This verse from Surah Al-Kahf is a powerful plea for divine mercy and *rashad* โ€“ a comprehensive term encompassing right guidance, sound judgment, and success in one's affairs. By asking for these, we implicitly seek protection from the negative consequences that can arise from our own flawed understanding, hasty decisions, or misguided actions. It acknowledges our dependence on Allah and His perfect knowledge, seeking His intervention to steer us away from paths that lead to regret or harm, both in this life and the Hereafter.
