Sahih Muslim (2708) narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, I was stung by a scorpion last night.' He said: 'If you had said, when evening came: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ (Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri ma khalaq) – 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You have created' – it would not have harmed you.'
