Narrated Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'When a man leaves his house and says: Bismillahi, tawakkaltu 'ala Allah, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah. It will be said to him: 'You have been sufficed, defended and guided.' So the devil will go away from him.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 5095, Sunan Ibn Majah 3893, graded Hasan by some scholars).
