Our Lord, do not make our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.

Rabbana la tuzigh qulubana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah, innaka antal-Wahhab.

Virtues & Benefits

This ayah encapsulates a core aspect of seeking Allah's help in maintaining iman (faith). It acknowledges that guidance is from Allah, and it is He who keeps us steadfast. By asking Him not to let our hearts deviate after He has guided us, we are essentially asking for protection from misguidance, doubt, and spiritual decay. The second part, 'and grant us from Yourself mercy,' highlights our need for Allah's continuous grace to navigate life's challenges and remain on the right path. It's a comprehensive plea for both spiritual firmness and divine compassion, recognizing Allah as Al-Wahhab, the Ultimate Giver.
