The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: 'Verily, Ibrahim (peace be upon him) descended to the earth and said: 'I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He created.' And verily, my mother sought refuge with this same supplication against me.' (Sahih Muslim 2708). This narration highlights the efficacy of this dua, as it was used by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) and also by the mother of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ for protection.
