Narrated Abu Dharr: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When any one of you performs Wudu' in his house, and then comes to one of the mosques to perform the obligatory prayer, he will have two rewards: the reward of Wudu' and the reward of the mosque. And when he performs Wudu' in his house and then goes out to offer the obligatory prayer, he will have the reward of the prayer, and when he performs Wudu' in his house and then goes out to offer the supererogatory prayer, he will have the reward of the supererogatory prayer." (Sahih Muslim 2203) The context here, while about Wudu and prayer, emphasizes the importance of seeking protection from Satan in one's actions related to purification and worship. The general principle of seeking refuge from Satan applies to moments when one is vulnerable to his whispers, including after leaving the bathroom.
