May Allah reward you with goodness.

*Jazakallahu khayran*

When to Read

This is a beautiful and concise dua to say whenever you witness someone performing an act of kindness or good deed, whether it's for you directly or for someone else. It's a way to acknowledge Allah's blessing in that good deed and to pray for the doer.

How to Read

Recite this dua with sincerity as you witness the act of kindness. Aim to say it clearly, looking at the person if appropriate and if it doesn't feel intrusive. The intention is to acknowledge the good deed and ask Allah to bless the person who performed it.

Virtues & Benefits

This dua is a Sunnah practice that encapsulates several beautiful aspects of our faith. Firstly, it's a way of showing gratitude to the person who did good, acknowledging their effort. More importantly, by asking Allah to reward them, we are acknowledging that all goodness originates from Him and that ultimate reward comes from Him alone. This practice fosters a positive and supportive community, encouraging more good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us to thank people; this dua is a perfect way to do so while seeking divine reward for them.
