Virtues & Benefits

Reciting this dua offers numerous benefits, grounding us in gratitude and reliance on Allah: * **Fulfilling a Sunnah:** It follows the blessed practice of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, who taught us to thank Allah upon receiving good, thus drawing us closer to his example. * **Deepening Gratitude:** It instills a habit of recognizing Allah's hand in all good outcomes, fostering a continuous state of thankfulness in the heart. * **Inviting Increase in Blessings:** Allah promises to increase His favors for those who are grateful. Source & Authentication

It was narrated from 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw something that pleased him, he would say: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ (Praise be to Allah by Whose grace righteous deeds are completed). And when he saw something that he disliked, he would say: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ (Praise be to Allah in every circumstance).
