Narrated Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: 'Whoever says: 'Al-hamdu lillah alladhi hadana li-hadha wa ma kunna li-nahtadiya lawla an hadana Allah' (All praise is due to Allah, who has guided us to this, and we would not have been guided had Allah not guided us), it will be said to him: 'You have indeed spoken the truth. You have been given the blessing of being upon what is upon you.' And whoever says: 'Al-hamdu lillah 'ala ni'matih' (All praise is due to Allah for His blessing), it will be said to him: 'You have indeed spoken the truth.' And whoever says: 'Al-hamdu lillah li-halih' (All praise is due to Allah for His favor), it will be said to him: 'You have indeed spoken the truth.'
