It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When one of you says: ‘Al-hamdulillah alladhi ‘ala ni'matihi tatimmus-salihāt’ (All praise is due to Allah, by Whose grace good deeds are completed), Allah says: ‘My servant has spoken the truth.’ When one of you says: ‘Al-hamdulillah hamdan kathiran tayyiban mubarakan fih’ (Praise be to Allah, much, good and blessed praise), the angels say: ‘O our Lord, we have no record of his spending more than he should.’
