اللَّهُمَّ لاَ سَهْلَ إِلاَّ مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلاً، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ إِذَا شِئْتَ سَهْلاً

Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Allah, the Almighty, said: 'O son of Adam, do not fear from My authority what you have feared from it, and do not be shy from Me as you have been shy from it. O son of Adam, do all that you do seeking My face, for I shall forgive you whatever happens to you of error. O son of Adam, offer your prayers of five times, and ask of Me and ask of Me, and I shall grant your requests. O son of Adam, believe in Me and what I sent down, and you will be guided. O son of Adam, fear Me, and you will be safe, and you will be the most obedient of My servants. O son of Adam, love Me and you will love Me, and you will be the most knowledgeable of My servants. O son of Adam, do not do wrong to Me, and you will be safe. O son of Adam, if the first and the last of you, and the mankind and the jinn of you, were to be gathered together on one plane and ask Me all that they had asked for, I would give all that is asked for, and this would not decrease what I have, except the amount of what is dipped by the needle in the ocean. O son of Adam, it is only your deeds that I count for you, and then I recompense you for them. So, he who finds good, let him praise Allah, and he who finds other than that, let him blame no one but himself.' He also narrated that the Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate with these words: 'Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja'altahu sahlan, wa anta taj'alul hazna idha shi'ta sahlan.' (O Allah, there is no ease except what You have made easy, and You, if You will, can make this sadness/difficulty easy.)
