اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَحِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِلْهَامَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ، اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِسَانِي عَامِرًا بِذِكْرِكَ، وَقَلْبِي بِخَشْيَتِكَ، وَأَسْرَارِي بِطَاعَتِكَ، إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ. اللَّهُمَّ بِعِلْمِكَ الغَيْبَ وَقُدْرَتِكَ عَلَى الخَلْقِ أَحْيِنِي مَا عَلِمْتَ الحَيَاةَ خَيْرًا لِي، وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا عَلِمْتَ الوَفَاةَ خَيْرًا لِي، وَأَسْأَلُكَ خَشْيَتَكَ فِي الغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ كَلِمَةَ الحَقِّ فِي الرِّضَا وَالغَضَبِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ القَصْدَ فِي الفَقْرِ وَالغِنَى، وَأَسْأَلُكَ نَعِيمًا لَا يَنْفَدُ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لَا تَنْقَطِعُ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ الرِّضَا بَعْدَ القَضَاءِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ بَرْدَ العَيْشِ بَعْدَ المَوْتِ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ لَذَّةَ النَّظَرِ إِلَى وَجْهِكَ، وَالشَّوْقَ إِلَى لِقَائِكَ، فِي غَيْرِ ضَرَّاءَ مُضِرَّةٍ وَلَا فِتْنَةٍ مُضِلَّةٍ. اللَّهُمَّ زَيِّنَّا بِزِينَةِ الإِيمَانِ، وَاجْعَلْنَا هُدَاةً مُهْتَدِينَ.
O Allah, bless me with the understanding of the Prophets, the memory of the Messengers, and the inspiration of the nearest Angels. O Allah, make my tongue alive with Your remembrance, my heart with Your awe, and my secrets with Your obedience. Indeed, You have power over all things. O Allah, by Your knowledge of the unseen and Your power over creation, keep me alive as long as You know life to be good for me, and cause me to die when You know death to be better for me. I ask You to make me fear You in private and in public. I ask You to make me speak the truth in times of pleasure and anger. I ask You to make me moderate in wealth and poverty. I ask You for blessings that never cease, and for the delight of the eye that never ends. I ask You for contentment after Your decree, and for a pleasant life after death. I ask You for the sweetness of looking at Your Face, and the longing to meet You, without any harmful distress or misleading trials. O Allah, adorn us with the adornment of faith, and make us guides who are guided.
Allahumma-rzukni fahman-nabiyyeen wa hifdh-al-mursaleen wa ilhamal-malaa'ikatil-muqarrabeen. Allahumma-j'al lisaani 'aamiran bi dhikrik, wa qalbi bi khashyatik, wa asraari bi taa'atik, innaka 'alaa kulli shay'in Qadeer. Allahumma bi 'ilmikal-ghaybi wa qudratika 'alal-khalqi ahynii maa 'alimtal-hayaata khayran lee, wa tawaffanii idhaa 'alimtal-wafaata khayran lee, wa as'aluka khashyataka fil-ghaybi wash-shahaadah, wa as'alukal-kalimatal-haqqi fir-ridaa wal-ghadab, wa as'alukal-qasda fil-faqr wal-ghinaa, wa as'aluka na'eeman laa yanfad, wa as'aluka qurrata 'aynin laa tanqati', wa as'alukal-ridaa ba'dal-qadaa', wa as'aluka barda-l-'ayshi ba'dal-mawt, wa as'aluka ladhdhat-an-nadzhari ilaa Wajhik, wash-shawqa ilaa Liqa'ik, fee ghayri dharrra'in mudhirratin wa laa fitnatin mudhillah. Allahumma zayyinnaa bi zeenatil-eemaan, waj'alnaa hudaatan muhtadeen.
