اللَّهُمَّ ارْزُقْنِي فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَحِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِلْهَامَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْمُقَرَّبِينَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ لِسَانِي عَامِرًا بِذِكْرِكَ وَقَلْبِي بِخَشْيَتِكَ وَسِرِّي بِطَاعَتِكَ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
O Allah, grant me the understanding of the Prophets, the memory of the messengers, and the inspiration of the close angels. O Allah, make my tongue eloquent in Your remembrance, my heart full of Your awe, and my inner self devoted to Your obedience. Indeed, You have power over all things.
Allahumma-rzuqni fahman-nabiyyina wa hifdhal-mursalin wa ilhamal-mala'ikatil-muqarrabin. Allahumma-jal lisani 'amiran bidhikrika wa qalbi bikhashyatik wa sirri bita'atik. Innaka 'ala kulli shay'in qadir.

It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'No servant is afflicted with anxiety or grief and then says: O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your handmaid; my forelock is in Your hand; Your judgment on me is inevitable, and Your decree concerning me is just; I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed in Your Book, or taught one of Your creatures, or preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, to make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness and the composer of my anxieties, except that Allah will take away his anxiety and grief and give him joy in his stead.' This is a comprehensive dua for seeking Allah's help in various afflictions, including mental ones, and it forms the basis for asking for clarity and understanding.
