اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ عَلَيْنَا فُتُوحَ الْعَارِفِينَ
O Allah, open upon us the openings of those who know.
Allahumma-ftah 'alayna futuhal-'arifin

Narrated by 'Abd Allah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to say when evening came: 'We have reached the evening and at this time the dominion belongs to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. O Allah, I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what is in it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what is in it. O Allah, I ask You for a beneficial knowledge, a good provision, and a deed that is accepted.' (Sahih Muslim 2723) Another related narration: It was narrated from 'Abd Allah bin Mas'ud that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) entered the morning, he would say: 'O Allah, grant me beneficial knowledge, good sustenance and accepted deeds.' (Sunan Ibn Majah 2580)
