โ€˜Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-โ€˜As (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: โ€˜Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them) said: โ€˜The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'Seek refuge in Allah from the removal of the blessing, the suddenness of His punishment, the evil of His decree, and the evil of His enmity.' He said: 'We will say: O Allah, we seek refuge in You from the removal of the blessing, the suddenness of Your punishment, the evil of Your decree, and the evil of Your enmity.' (He then mentioned another narrations) โ€˜Abdullah bin โ€˜Amr (may Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: 'There are three things if a person has them, Allah will give him shade under His Throne on the Day of Judgment, the day there is no shade but His: bearing patiently what he was given, showing kindness to my brothers, and facing hardship with a good heart. And there are three things that if a person has them, Allah will make him smile: meeting my brothers with cheerfulness, showing kindness to those who taught him the Quran, and praying at night when people are asleep.' He said: 'The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to teach them these words: O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, good provision, and acceptable deeds.'
