O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, from the evil of my sight, from the evil of my tongue, from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.
Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min sharri sam'i, wa min sharri basari, wa min sharri lisani, wa min sharri qalbi, wa min sharri maniyyi.

How to Read
Recite this dua sincerely, with a focused heart. Understand that seeking refuge in Allah is the ultimate shield. As you recite, try to visualize the negative impulses and harmful thoughts being pushed away, replaced by seeking Allah's protection. It can be recited once or repeated when the feeling of anger arises.
Virtues & Benefits
This comprehensive supplication guards against the internal and external factors that contribute to anger. By seeking refuge from the evil of one's hearing (what one hears that might incite anger), sight (what one sees that might provoke), tongue (what one might say in anger), and heart (thoughts and intentions that fuel anger), we are asking Allah to safeguard our faculties. This protects us from uttering hurtful words, harboring resentment, or acting rashly when falsely accused. It trains us to manage our reactions by turning to our Creator.

He said: 'Say: O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgive sins except You, so forgive me with Your forgiveness, and have mercy upon me. Indeed, You are the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 769). He also said: 'When I pray with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I hear him say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cursed devil. He said thrice. When I pray with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I hear him say: O Allah, seek refuge in You from the evil of the deed and the evil of the result, and say thrice. I asked him: 'What is this?' He said: 'The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of the deed and the evil of the result.' He said: 'O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, and from the evil of my sight, and from the evil of my tongue, and from the evil of my heart, and from the evil of my semen.' (Sunan Abi Dawud 1554, graded Hasan by Al-Albani).
