In the name of Allah, with Whose name nothing can cause harm on earth or in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.
O Allah, grant me wisdom and establish me (in truth) after myself.
O Allah, bless our fruits, bless our village, bless our measure (sa'), and bless our measure (mudd). O Allah, make in the city five branches of the thorny trees, and make for every nut a husk, and protect it from every straying creature and invader.
O Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all affairs, and determination in following the right path. I ask You to enable me to be grateful for Your blessings and to worship You in the best manner. I ask You for a sound heart and a truthful tongue. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what You know, and I ask You for the good of what You know. I seek Your forgiveness for what You know, for indeed You are the Knower of the unseen.
Your forgiveness, [I seek]. All praise is due to Allah Who removed from me that which is harmful and granted me well-being.
"Surely, we belong to Allah, and to Him shall we return. O Allah, reward me in my affliction and give me something better than it."
O Allah, bless us in it and feed us something better than it.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the cessation of Your blessings, and the change of Your protection, and the suddenness of Your punishment, and all of Your displeasure.
O Allah, suffice me with Your lawful (provision) instead of Your unlawful, and enrich me with Your bounty so that I may not need to ask anyone other than You.
Glory be to You, O Allah, and all praise is Yours. Blessed is Your name, and exalted is Your majesty. There is no god but You.
O Allah, I seek Your guidance through Your knowledge, and Your power through Your might, and I ask of Your great bounty. You have power, and I have no power. You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge. You are the Knower of all unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter (mention your need here) is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter – for my present and my future – then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my Hereafter – for my present and my future – then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and ordain for me whatever is good, and make me content with it.
O Allah, grant me the understanding of the Prophets, the memory of the Messengers, and the inspiration of the nearest Angels. O Allah, make my tongue abundant with Your remembrance, my heart with Your fear, and my innermost being with Your obedience. Indeed, You have power over all things.
