My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which You approve. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, pure provision, and acceptable deeds.
O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, mend me, protect me, provide for me, and elevate me.
In the name of Allah, I rely on Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from distress and sorrow, I seek refuge in You from incapacity and laziness, I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the overwhelming of debt and the subjugation of men.
O Allah, indeed We place You directly in their line of fire [or in front of them to ward them off], and we seek refuge in You from their evils.
In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye. May Allah cure you. In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah for you.
All praise is due to Allah, who brought us back to life after giving us death, and to Him is the resurrection.
My Lord, grant me from among the righteous [children].
O Allah, I seek guidance from Your knowledge, and I seek power from Your might, and I ask You from Your immense grace. For You have power, and I have no power; You have knowledge, and I have no knowledge; and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter – [mention your matter] – is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end- \[or he said] in my present and future – then ordain it for me, make it easy for me, and bless it for me. And if You know that this matter is bad for me in my religion, my livelihood, and my end – \[or he said] in my present and future – then turn it away from me, and turn me away from it, and ordain for me the good wherever it may be, and make me content with it.
O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forehead is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have named Yourself with, or You have taught to any of Your creation, or You have revealed in Your Book, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the delight of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my anxieties.
