O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is ever effective, and Your decree concerning me is just. I ask You by every name that You have called Yourself, or revealed to anyone You created, or sent down in Your Book, or have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the remover of my worries.

O Allah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand. Your command over me is forever executed. Your decision concerning me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You, which You have bestowed upon Yourself, or You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in Your knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur'an the spring of my heart, and the light of my chest, the banisher of my sadness, and the reliever of my anxiety.
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the grave, and from the punishment of the Fire, and from the trial of wealth and poverty, and from the trial of the grave, and from the evil of the trial of the Dajjal. O Allah, Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, our Lord and Lord of all things, the Opener of the grain and the date-stone, the Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil, and the Furqan. O Allah, You are the First, so there is nothing before You; You are the Last, so there is nothing after You; You are the Apparent, so there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden, so there is nothing nearer than You. Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it ourselves. And indeed, to our Lord we will return. O Allah, we ask You on this journey of ours for goodness and piety, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and let its distance be short for us. O Allah, You are the Companion on the journey and the One Who looks after the family. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the hardships of the journey, from a sorrowful sight, and from evil consequences in wealth and family.
In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah. There is no might nor power except with Allah.
