Arabic: لَا تَسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَلَا تُبْدُوهُ لَكُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ لَنْ يَهْدُوكُمْ وَقَدْ ضَلُّوا ضَلَالًا بَعِيدًا Translation: "Do not ask the People of the Book about anything, and do not show them the side of you, for they will not guide you and have gone astray far away." Arabic: اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُّتَشَابِهًا مَّثَانِيَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى اللَّهِ يَهْدِي بِهِ مَن يَشَاءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِنْ هَادٍ Translation: "Allah has sent down the best statement as a Book consistent with itself [in purity and truth] wherein is recurrence. The skins of those who fear their Lord shiver from it. Then their skin and their hearts relax at the remembrance of Allah. That is the guidance of Allah. He guides with it whom He wills. And whoever Allah leaves astray – for him there is no guide." Arabic: عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُسْرٍ قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ شَرَائِعَ الإِسْلاَمِ قَدْ كَثُرَتْ عَلَىَّ فَأَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَتَشَبَّثُ بِهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ لاَ يَزَالُ لِسَانُكَ رَطْبًا مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ ‏"‏ Translation: Abdullah bin Busr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: “O Messenger of Allah, the injunctions of Islam are too many for me, so tell me something that I can hold on to.” He said: “Keep your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah.” Transliteration: 'An 'Abdillah bin Busrin qala ata rajulun Rasul Allah ﷺ fa qala ya Rasul Allah inna shara'i' al-Islami qad kathurat 'alayya fa akhbirni bi shay'in atashabbathu bih. Qala: La yazalu lisānu-ka ratban min dhikri Allah.
